Evan nodded, stepping out carefully and drying off, putting in an old white shirt and baggy sweats, rolling the legs to mid calf. He fluffed his hair before stepping out into their empty room, spinning around and arms in the air. “This, this isn’t real.” he whispered to himself with a tiny smile.
Kurt had slipped on boxers with skinny jeans, his boots, a loose blue shirt and his jacket before tucking his hair in Evan’s beanie. He just didn’t have enough time to fix it. He kissed his husband on the cheek before taking the keys and heading out.
Down the road he dropped into a drug store and picked up some pain killers before going to the cafe and picking up two coffees and two egg and bacon muffins. He headed back to the apartment, smiling as someone open the door and too the stairs two at a time. Once he reached the door he frowned, he couldn’t get the keys out with both hands full. He decided to kick on the door and wait for his husband to answer.
Evan laughed, walking slowly to the door and opening it, helping Kurt with the items he had before spotting the painkillers. “I love you.” he giggled, taking one with a gulp of coffee.
Kurt smiled and kissed Evans nose before shutting it. “I got you pain killers as well,” he said, grabbing them out of his back pocket and handing them over. “Now, let’s eat quickly so we can cover the floor in the bedroom for painting, clear anything that could get paint on it and and let me tap off walls so no paint gets in the wrong parts.”
Evan nodded, spreading out old sheets he had packed with him and getting out the brushes and paints they’d bought before eating his food and sipping his coffee.

“But you don’t mean to.” Evan pointed out. “I mean, I love when we are like that..”
“I do too,” Kurt kissed Evan’s shoulder blade. “I just hate hurting you.” Kurt turned the water off and stepped out, glad he had the heating system on as he walked over to the towels and wrapped himself in one…

“I do feel a lot better.” Evan admitted. “And that sounds great. Breakfast in New York City.”

Evan got up and headed into their shower, turning it on carefully and washing off, he warmth helping his pain.
Kurt flushed the shower, saying a quick ‘sorry’ when the water temp changed before of it then quickly washed his hands. He rushed into the bedroom and opened one of their suitcases to…

“Hi there.” Evan smiled softly. “Sleep well?”
Kurt yawned before nodding. He then pulled a face, he really had to pee, like really badly. “I’ma go to the bathroom and flick the heating on whilst I go. Do you need anything whist I’m up?” He…

Evan moaned slowly, pain crossing his face as he went to sit up. “Painkillers?” he asked jokingly, getting up gingerly.

Evan chuckled lowly, voice thick with sleep. He sucked harder before tugging on the lobe of Kurt’s ear with his teeth.
Kurt gasped, eyes fluttered open as his cheeks coloured. “Ev,” he whined, tilting his head to…
